Qurated was founded with a clear vision: to empower businesses and people to take advantage of the opportunities afforded by technology and innovation. Established in 2016, we marked a pivotal moment in 2021 with a successful management buyout, propelling us to new heights of growth and innovation.

This growth includes our expansion into the US and the addition of new markets to our portfolio, enabling us to better serve both new and existing clients across the regions we operate in.

As a company that is 50% female-founded, we are dedicated to fostering a respectful and inclusive culture. Our commitment to our core values - Action, Impact, and Growth guide everything we do. From tackling charitable initiatives like the 3 Peaks Challenge to abseiling off The Royal London Hospital, we are continuously expanding our focus on community-driven efforts and making a positive, lasting impact.

Meet our leadership team

Luke Nihill

Co-Founder and Managing Director

Luke co-founded Qurated in 2016 and serves as Managing Director, he heads up our Leadership Search practice and acts as Banking industry lead.

Prior to founding Qurated, Luke led the Financial Services practice for a boutique interim search consultancy, specialising in helping global financial services and fintech clients to access the talent needed to lead and deliver technology enabled transformation.

Amber Hicks

Co-Founder and Managing Director

Amber co-founded Qurated in 2016 and serves as Managing Director of our US search practice.

Before founding Qurated, Amber led the Change and Transformation team at a boutique executive search firm. She brings extensive experience advising clients across the financial and professional services sectors on the appointment of senior change and transformation leaders.

Sean Irwin

Director, Adaptive Teams

Sean is a Director within Qurated's Adaptive Teams practice, supporting industry clients to shape requirements for projects across multiple geographies. 


With experience spanning both the UK and his native South Africa, Sean has worked across professional services and technology consulting. A former competitive rower who represented South Africa at international levels, he brings the same discipline, resilience, and team-first mindset to driving business success.

Owen Buckley

Partner, Executive Search, New York

Owen is a Partner in Qurated's New York office, leading our Portfolio Search practice. He places exceptional leaders into high-growth, investor-backed businesses.

Formerly with executive search firms including Riviera Partners and Kindred Partners, Owen has a wealth of experience in helping shape the executive teams for some of the most innovative growth stage companies. His experience spans early-stage start-ups to established enterprises, enabling him to connect top talent with transformative opportunities in rapidly evolving industries.

Stewart Moore

Director, Adaptive Teams

As a director within our Financial Services Practice, Stewart leads technology transformation and operational change across financial services, with a focus on core banking and payments.

Prior to Qurated, Stewart spent a decade at Nationwide Building Society, where he served as Chief Architect, before moving into fintech to drive digital product development and innovation. With over 20 years of experience in business transformation, programme delivery, and technology strategy, he helps organisations navigate complex change and scale for the future.

Paul Jackson

Director, Adaptive Teams

Paul is a Director within Qurated's Financial Services Practice, leading programme delivery for within banking and payments.

With a global track record in banking and payments, Paul has held leadership roles at Barclays, ANZ, and KPMG Canada, where he led major payments modernisation initiatives, platform migrations, and regulatory compliance programmes. A collaborative leader, he is known for aligning business and technology priorities to deliver impactful results in high-stakes environments.
